After your breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 08:15 a.m. for a full day excursion through the Urubamba Valley visiting the colorful Indian market in Pisac where you will appreciate a mixture of color and tradition. Pisac is located at the entrance of the Sacred Valley followed by Ollantaytambo. Most people visit Pisac to see the Sunday market, but there are smaller markets on both Tuesdays and Thursdays. However Pisac is a pretty town and has lots of little handicraft shops worth visiting any day of the week it is a good place to shop for local pottery including a huge and varied collection of hand paintings. Lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba, then continue to Ollantaytambo, which is an attractive little town located at the western end of the Sacred Valley, considered the oldest city in the entire American continent, it is located near some spectacular Inca ruins that protected strategically the entrance to the lower part of the Urubamba valley. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with sub-canals that have not changed since Inca times, evoke its ancestral heritage, then you will end up visiting Chinchero. Chinchero is a small Andean Indian town situated high on the windswept plains of Anta at 3762m about 30km from Cusco and is believed to be the Mythical birthplace of the Rainbow. Its biggest attraction for tourism is its colorful Sunday market. At the end, they will return to Cusco arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the Plaza Mayor of Cusco. Includes Breakfast and Lunch

We depart from Cusco by guided bus to Puno, visiting picturesque towns and archaeological sites such as Andahuaylillas, Raqchi, Sicuani, La Raya and Pukara. Lunch included in Sicuani. You will be picked up from your accommodation at 6:30 am, to go to the port of Puno to take a tourist motor boat and head towards the wonderful floating islands of the Uros. After a 1-hour boat ride, you will arrive at the Uros Island in Lake Titikaka. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The inhabitants of the Uros are known as the "water tribe", because they have to build their own islands periodically by adding new layers of totora, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants form the support of the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely damp from the surrounding water. They used it as homes and trading centers for the natives, who use handmade boats from the same material as their means of transportation. Today, they speak Quechua and Aymara. En route to the Juliaca airport (Puno does not have an airport) we will visit the Chullpas de Sillustani (pre-Columbian funeral towers). The landscape is desert, but impressive, in a beautiful setting on a peninsula in Lake Aymara 32km from Puno. Most of the towers date from the time of the Inca occupation in the 15th century, the engineering involved in the construction is more complex than anything the Incas built.
